Dulux 2016 colour of the year is 'Monarch Gold'

     The world's largest producers of paint  Dulux has chosen its color for the year 2016 as 'Monarch Gbraold' as against 2015 color which was 'Copper Orange'. According to Dulux color Expert, the Color 'Monarch Gold' is chosen out of a broad Palette of Yellow that best represents the golden influence of this year's color trends.  'Monarch Gold' captures a friendly palette with a dark mysterious side that adds to its beauty.
  The Chemical and Allied products (CAP) Plc, a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc (UACN), manufacturers of Dulux premium brabd of paints and technological licensee of AkzoNobel, World's largest coatings company unveiled this as part of global tradition and to show dulux brand leadership positioning in color mastery.
Speaking during a special briefing session with professional stakeholder bodies including:Interior Design Association of Nigeria (IDAN), Nigerian Institute Of Building (NIOB), Nigerian Institute of Architects, Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors(NIQS), Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers(NIESV) and Dulux Deorators Club, the Managing Director, Chemical and Allied Products (CAP) Pls, Mrs Omolara Elemide welcomed the esteemed stakeholders present and spoke on the company's responsibility of communicating the annual global color trend to Nigerianswhich has over the years been tagged 'Dulux Colour of the Year'

Speaking at the presentation, Mr Dominic Oladeji the Marketing Manager of CAP Plc, he explained that this year's Dulux color of the year was derived from the Overiding theme-'Looking Both Ways' which attempts  to strike a balance between two opposing worlds such as 'Dark and Light', 'Heritage and Future', 'Words and Pictures', and 'The Grid and Letting Go'.
